JuanHand Review: Is It Legit? Rates, Limits and Red Flags

Contents

JuanHand is a loan app run by Wefund Lending Corp., a lending company whose three platforms appear on the SEC's official record of online lenders dated January 26, 2026. The JuanHand loan app advertises ₱2,000 to ₱50,000, approval "as fast as 5 minutes", and zero processing fees. Compare its own pages, though, and the picture gets messy. This review prints every conflicting statement, prices the one concrete example published, and names each catch.

Is JuanHand Legit? The SEC Record First

JuanHand passes the legality gate, with one caveat about its numbers. Wefund Lending Corp. appears on the SEC's official list of recorded online lending platforms released January 26, 2026, naming three platforms: Juanhand, Junahand, and Kidlat Peso. The list is issued under MC 19, series of 2019, and reprinted by newspress.ph on February 6, 2026. Wefund is a lending company under RA 9474.

The two numbers borrowers search for need a label. Registration No. CS201825672 and Certificate of Authority 2844 both come from secondary records (legitloanappreview.com, as of March 2026). The SEC keeps a public registry only for financing companies, not lending companies. Official confirmation runs through checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph, the SEC's manual checker, or the hotline 1-4SEC. Full steps follow on our Is JuanHand SEC Registered page.

One correction, because it keeps circulating. Many pages on the open web name FinAccelerate Inc. as the operator of JuanHand. The official records we track name Wefund Lending Corp. Trust the record, not the rumor.

Registration is the entry ticket, not a quality stamp: a licensed lender and three recorded platforms, nothing about price. Price is where the confusion starts. The full verified market: our SEC registered lending apps list.

How a JuanHand Loan Works: Five Steps

  1. Use the official channel. Get the app or go to juanhand.com. Check that the listing names Wefund Lending Corp. before entering data.

  3. Check the published bar. 18 to 60 years old, Filipino citizen, one government-issued ID, stable income.
  4. Set the amount and term, then read the offer screen. The App Store range is ₱2,000 to ₱50,000; the decision comes "as fast as 5 minutes". Screenshot the offer, where rate and total repayment appear before you accept.
  5. Choose how to receive the money. GCash, Maya, GrabPay, around 46 banks, or over-the-counter cash outlets nationwide. Transfer time is not published.

What a JuanHand Loan Really Costs

Here is the honest part. JuanHand publishes exactly one concrete price: a worked example inside its App Store listing.

Figure Value (App Store example)
Principal ₱10,000
Term 91 days
Rate used in the example 12%
Interest charged ₱299.17
Total repayment ₱10,299.17

Source: the JuanHand App Store listing, id1515880756, checked September 16, 2026; formula 10,000 × 12% ÷ 365 × 91 + 10,000.

Run our methodology over that example: (10,299.17 − 10,000) ÷ 10,000 × 365 ÷ 91 × 100% ≈ 12% a year, simple. Our estimate, matching the store's arithmetic, well under the disclosed 30% APR ceiling. It sounds mild. Just remember it advertises the best case, not a typical offer.

The standard benchmark we apply, ₱5,000 for 30 days, cannot be priced here. JuanHand publishes no rate card to feed the formula. We will not invent one. Your real rate depends on credit assessment and appears only inside the in-app offer. Between "as low as 0.025%" and a 30% APR ceiling sits any price; the disclosure places yours.

Two more claims deserve arithmetic. The homepage says "as low as 0.025%" without stating the period; the blog calls it a daily rate. Daily, that is 0.025% times 365, about 9.1% a year simple. The promo "first installment interest-free" trims the cost of loan one. Verify both in-app before you build on either. Stress-test any offer in our loan calculator; a deeper breakdown follows on our JuanHand interest rate page.

Frequently asked questions

Is JuanHand SEC registered?

Yes. The operator Wefund Lending Corp. is on the SEC's official platforms record dated January 26, 2026, with the apps Juanhand, Junahand and Kidlat Peso. Registration No. CS201825672 and Certificate of Authority 2844 come from secondary records as of March 2026; confirm via checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph or hotline 1-4SEC. Re-verified September 16, 2026.

Is JuanHand legit ba or scam?

Legit ba? In the regulatory sense, yes: a registered lending company, three recorded platforms, and no SEC enforcement action in the records we track. Legit is not the same as transparent, though. Limits, terms, and the rate basis carry conflicting official statements. The late penalty is unpublished.

What is JuanHand interest rate?

The homepage says "as low as 0.025%" without stating the period; the blog calls it a daily rate. The App Store discloses a maximum APR of 30% and works one example: ₱10,000 for 91 days at 12%, total repayment ₱10,299.17. Your actual rate is set by credit assessment and appears in the in-app offer before you accept.

How much can I borrow in JuanHand?

Honest answer: the official numbers disagree. The App Store says ₱2,000 to ₱50,000, the site text says up to ₱50,000, and the slider runs from 1,000 to 100,000. Plan around ₱2,000 to ₱50,000 and trust only your own offer.

Who operates JuanHand?

Wefund Lending Corp., per the official records we track, which also list its platforms Juanhand, Junahand, and Kidlat Peso. Many web pages say FinAccelerate Inc. runs the app; that name does not match the record.

The Verdict on this lender

Boiled down: registered operator, huge payout network, zero declared fees, conflicting numbers everywhere else.

The rule that never changes: confirm the registration, read the in-app disclosure, then borrow only what you can repay on time.
