HoneyLoan is a Philippine loan app operated by Warm Cash Lending Corp., a lending company registered with the SEC under PSEC Registration No. 2021030009095-02. New clients borrow ₱1,000 to ₱10,000, repeat clients up to ₱30,000, over 61 to 364 days. One problem towers over this review: the website and the App Store publish completely different prices.
Verdict: is HoneyLoan legit?
Yes, on the registry. HoneyLoan operates under Warm Cash Lending Corp., lending company PSEC No. 2021030009095-02, and "Honey Loan" is on the SEC's recorded platforms list of January 26, 2026. We checked September 16, 2026.
The license number carries a wrinkle. The App Store listing discloses Certificate of Authority No. 3472; a secondary aggregator lists 3427. We publish 3472, the number from the listing we checked ourselves, and keep the conflict visible. Full breakdown: is HoneyLoan SEC registered?
Registration is a floor, not a ceiling. It proves the lender is licensed. It says nothing about the price, and the price story here is unusual.

How to borrow from HoneyLoan: 5 steps
The flow is fast and standard.
- Check the requirements. Citizenship or residency, one government ID plus a selfie, an active mobile number. No guarantor, no payslip.
- Pick your amount. New clients: ₱1,000 to ₱10,000, up to 12 months. Repeat clients: up to ₱30,000, from 7 days.
- Submit and wait. Five minutes of processing, 2–3 of validation per the website; approval within 15 minutes per the store.
- Read the final disclosure in the app before you confirm. The website and the store show different rates, so this screen is the only price that counts.
- Receive the money instantly. It goes to a bank account, card, or e-wallet in your name (GCash, Maya, Bank Transfer).
The real cost of a HoneyLoan loan: two official versions
Here is the finding that shapes this review. The website says 0.4% a day with a maximum APR of 144%; the App Store says 0.096% a day with a maximum of 35–36%. Both use the same ₱3,000 example over 180 days. The totals are far apart.
Version 1: the website (0.4% a day)
The honeyloan.ph homepage publishes one example, quoted as printed: principal ₱3,000, term 180 days (6 months), monthly effective rate 12%, daily cost rate 0.4%, total interest and fees ₱2,160.00, total repayment ₱5,160.00, monthly installment ₱860.00, maximum APR 144%.
The math holds together. I ran it twice. ₱3,000 × 0.4% is ₱12 a day. Over 180 days that is ₱2,160, exactly the stated cost. Annualized through the LigtasLoan methodology: (₱5,160 − ₱3,000) ÷ ₱3,000 × 365 ÷ 180 ≈ 146% a year. That is our estimate. The site's own ceiling is 144%, its 12% monthly rate times 12. Either way, this is the expensive end of the market.
Version 2: the App Store (0.096% a day)
The App Store listing publishes its own example: credit amount 3,000 PHP, term 6 months, daily rate 0.096% fixed, amount to be returned 3,487 PHP, fees and commissions 0, maximum APR 35% (the header says 36%).
Our calculation from those figures. ₱3,000 × 0.096% is ₱2.88 a day, or ₱518 over 180 days. That totals ₱3,518. The listing says ₱3,487, some ₱31 less, roughly 169 days of interest at the stated rate. Small rounding in their own example. Our estimate of the stated total: (₱3,487 − ₱3,000) ÷ ₱3,000 × 365 ÷ 180 ≈ 33% a year. The store version lands in the moderate range.
Why this matters for borrowers
The gap is ₱1,673 on the very same loan: ₱5,160 under the website version, ₱3,487 under the store. That is real money.
Which one will you get? Nothing published answers that. The daily rates differ more than four times. This one question decides everything. The disclosure screen inside the app is the only number you should act on, whatever it says. Model both scenarios in the loan calculator. Our HoneyLoan interest rate per month page will track any change.
What HoneyLoan does well
- Fast from start to finish. Five minutes of processing, instant payout, round the clock.
- One ID and a selfie. No guarantor, no payslip, no collateral in the published requirements.
- Room to grow. Repeat clients can reach ₱30,000, terms from 7 days to about a year.
- A licensed lender. Registration 2021030009095-02, platform on the recorded list of January 26, 2026: SEC registered lending apps list.
- A moderate ceiling if the store version applies, around 35–36% maximum APR.
Where HoneyLoan falls short
- Two official prices. The website says 0.4% a day, up to 144% APR; the App Store says 0.096% a day, 35–36%. No borrower knows in advance which applies.
- The expensive version is very expensive. At the website figures, our estimate lands near 146% a year, among the costliest apps we track.
- The requirements disagree too. Age runs 21–70 on the website, 20–60 in the store.
- Late penalties stay unpublished. Only the minimum-payment extension (7, 14, or 30 days) is disclosed, its cost unstated.
- Two CA numbers circulate. 3472 in the app listing, 3427 on an aggregator. We print both and flag the conflict.
- Three legal names around one app: lender Warm Cash Lending Corp., listing under DYNINNO FINTECH HOLDING LIMITED, a separate developer entity.
What borrowers say, and what we could verify
Straight answer: as of September 16, 2026 we found no borrower reviews we could verify, and this site does not invent them. Here is what to know before you apply.
- Screenshot the final disclosure in the app before you confirm: rate, fees, total repayment.
- Ask support in writing which rate applies to you.
- Compute the total cost over the whole term. ₱12 a day sounds small; ₱2,160 over six months is not.
- Understand the minimum-payment option: it moves your due date by 7, 14, or 30 days, at an unpublished cost.
- Keep records: the signed agreement, every receipt, every chat.
Red flags, and who should skip HoneyLoan
Honestly, nothing here is a scam signal; the registration is real. But three cautions deserve bold type.
First, the price split is the red flag. The website and the App Store give different numbers, and only the final disclosure inside the app says which one governs your loan. Read that screen slowly before you confirm anything. If the number fails your test, decline; declining costs nothing.
Second, unknown penalties. We found no published late fee. If your income is irregular, get the answer in writing first.
Third, impersonators are a market-wide problem. SEC advisories in March and June 2026 named dozens of fake clones in the app stores. None named HoneyLoan. Still: download only the official app tied to honeyloan.ph.
Skip HoneyLoan if: you need the full price in writing before you apply; your age sits outside both published ranges; or you require published penalty terms before signing.
HoneyLoan alternatives worth checking
- MoneyCat review — Moneycat Financing Inc., financing company, CA No. 1254 per the SEC registry. First loan: "0% interest and no processing fee", ₱500 to ₱20,000. Best for a free first loan.
- Cashalo review — Paloo Financing Inc. (DBA Cashalo), CA No. 1162. Loans run ₱1,000 to ₱13,000; qualifying loans (₱10,000 or less, 4 months or fewer) carry 12% per month effective since April 1, 2026, under SEC MC No. 14. Late penalty (5% a month) and a 100% total-charges cap are both published.
- Low-interest loan apps — our ranking by real APR, not advertised rates. Best for comparing published prices.
None of these publishes everything either.

Frequently asked questions
Is HoneyLoan SEC registered?
Yes. HoneyLoan operates under Warm Cash Lending Corp., lending company PSEC No. 2021030009095-02, and "Honey Loan" is on the recorded platforms list of January 26, 2026. The App Store listing discloses CA No. 3472; an aggregator lists 3427. Verified September 16, 2026.
Is HoneyLoan legit ba or scam?
It is a registered lender, not a scam by any registry measure. The catch is price: the website and the App Store publish different rates, so verify the final in-app disclosure before you confirm anything.
What is HoneyLoan interest rate per day?
Two official versions exist. The website states 0.4% a day with a maximum APR of 144%; the App Store states 0.096% a day fixed with a maximum of 35–36%. Which one applies appears only in the final in-app disclosure.
Is Warm Cash Lending the same as HoneyLoan?
Yes. Warm Cash Lending Corp. is the lender, with the brands Honey Loan and Well Cash. The App Store listing sits under DYNINNO FINTECH HOLDING LIMITED, a separate developer entity.
The bottom line for borrowers
Three scenarios, three answers.
- You need a small loan for weeks or a few months. HoneyLoan is a legitimate, SEC-registered option. Confirm only after the in-app disclosure shows a price you accept: the store version (0.096% a day) is moderate, the website version (0.4% a day, near 146% a year by our estimate) is expensive.
- You want up to ₱30,000 as a repeat borrower. Possible after a clean first cycle. Compare the disclosed APR against the alternatives above before committing.
- You refuse to borrow without a transparent price. Do not confirm until the in-app disclosure matches one of the two published versions. Keep the screenshot. Until then, nothing is settled.
One more note. The SEC froze new online lending platforms from November 2021 until August 1, 2026. Warm Cash Lending Corp. has been registered since 2021 by the format of its number. We re-check after every SEC advisory, and the date on this page moves with it.
